Garanti BBVA, BBVA’s Turkish unit, announced on Monday the launch of its new bank account aggregation service specifically for businesses, SMEs, and freelancers. According to Garanti, the services allow clients to view the amount debited and credited to their non-BBVA accounts.
Garanti did explain that clients are required to enter the pertinent account details in Garanti BBVA and place an order in the corresponding bank to authorize access to their information, Işıl Akdemir Evlioğlu, Executive Vice President of Garanti BBVA, stated:
“We have upgraded our products and services with all the new features enabled by the latest technological improvements in the field of digital banking to make our customers’ lives easier. In this sense, we continue to support the digitization of the businesses, SMEs and companies that work with us.”
Garanti BBVA also reported that aims is to provide its clients with an easier and faster way to manage their accounts, allowing them to check their balances and statements without having to log into other banking platforms. With the new upgrade, clients can keep track of their financials instantly from a single screen. Garanti added:
“The project also represents a major step in the field of open banking practices, which are regarded as the future of the sector. The widespread adoption of these applications, will allow Garanti BBVA to continue bringing world-class banking experiences to its clients in the safest way possible.”
