The Naked Collective, a carbon-neutral wellness company, has successfully secured nearly €1.9 million through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. The funding round, which originally sought to raise €1.5 million, has attracted close to 300 Crowdcube investors.
Founded in 2019, The Naked Collective describes itself as an Irish carbon-neutral start-up beverage company and our mission is to make the world a healthier, better place, one drink at-a-time. The company’s drinks are made with Plants, Vitamins, and Water.
“The Naked Collective’s products address the gap in the market for truly healthy functional drinks. Attitudes are moving towards clean, healthy and natural ingredients with consumers looking for healthier options when choosing beverages in a drive towards ‘better for you’ lifestyles.”
The Naked Collective further revealed that since launching, it is on shelf in Ireland across Spar, Tesco, Circle K, Musgrave, Gala, Daybreak, Londis, Mace, and a range of Independent outlets, in excess of 1000 stores in total.
“The company is also available in Italy, and has established a team in the US and Canada & has signed agreements with brokers & distributors in both countries. We have also recently announced a supply agreement with Wizz Air, who carried over 30,000,000 passengers in 2019.”
Funds from the Crowdcube round will be used to continue the growth and development of The Naked Collective’s platform and products. The funding round is set to close in early May.
