First American Docutech Adds ConformX Loan Doc Genreeration Tech, Solex eSignatus to SimpleNexus Homeownership Platform

First American Docutech, an established provider of document, eSign, eClose and print fulfillment tech, and a member of the First American family of companies, has reportedly integrated its ConformX loan document generation tech and Solex eSignature solution with SimpleNexus’ homeownership platform.

Lenders that are using SimpleNexus and First American Docutech are now able to offer their borrowers with the option to eSign initial mortgage disclosures via a single sign-on experience.

Borrowers and lenders are able to benefit from a user-friendly experience that aims to offer secure access to disclosures, progress tracking and eSignature functionality via the SimpleNexus web platform or mobile app.

Lenders using the solution are able to make the disclosure signing process a lot quicker, more secure as well as more convenient for clients.

Amy Brandt, president of First American Docutech, stated:

“At First American Docutech, we are focused on helping lenders digitize as much of the lending workflow as possible to create a seamless experience for the borrower. We’re integrating with one of the leading point-of-sale innovators to accelerate the journey from application to closing by making it simple and secure to generate and electronically sign disclosures.”

As a large POS solution provider, SimpleNexus currently serves over 39,000 loan officers and 300 lenders based in the US, reaching 1 in every 8 home loans. Docutech’s Solex eSignature software and ConformX document generation platform offer lenders with an all-in-one solution to generate, deliver and complete mortgage disclosures and documents.

Shane Westra, Chief Product Officer at SimpleNexus, remarked:

“Our integration with First American Docutech delivers lenders and borrowers eSigned disclosures in one easy-to-use mobile app. Together, we are helping to bring eSigned disclosures to the familiar SimpleNexus app that borrowers and loan officers rely on for their refinance and home purchase needs.”

At its core, mortgage lending is “a people business,” according to the SimpleNexus team which notes that human beings helping other human beings “make one of the biggest purchases of their lives.”

While modern tech has made the mortgage process more efficient; there’s “a downside,” according to SimpleNexus which notes that accessing those “ever-helpful” systems and tools usually means “spending more time in the office—instead of building relationships.”

As noted by its management:

“SimpleNexus brings the tools and systems you need right to your mobile device. So, if you meet a prospect, you can start the loan origination process on the spot, to engage that borrower faster. You can answer customer questions from anywhere, with no callbacks. You can quote pricing in a realtor’s office, at a networking event or in line at the grocery store. You go from being a loan originator to a mobile originator. And that’s a competitive advantage.”
