Online Lender creditshelf Reports Strong Q3 Loan Originations

creditshelf, an online lender serving SMEs in Germany, is reporting solid Q3 results as loan originations rise.

According to a note distributed by creditshelf, new loan business during the 9 months of the fiscal year 2021 grew by 58% to € 110.9 million ( versus € 70.3 million).

On a rolling basis, the last 12 months delivered new business in the amount of almost € 140 million.

During Q3 2021, creditshelf reports € 39.1 million in new loan business (versus € 24.7 million) that is said to indicate a sustainable, strong performance in generating attractive investment opportunities for institutional investors.

Loan requests are said to have accumulated to a total volume of more than € 5.7 billion since the platform was launched.

In total, creditshelf has originated loans of more than € 400 million.

creditshelf adds that the volume of loans requested during the 9 month period in 2021 leveled with the prior-year period, while loan quality increased.

The average ticket size was € 1,018,000 during 2021 (versus € 890,000), reflecting SMEs’ increasing demand for larger loan volumes.
