Fintech Pockit, Youtility to Help UK Consumers Save on Subscriptions

Integrating Youtility’s platform enables Pockit clients to compare and save on household subscriptions helping to save hundreds of pounds every year.

The current cost-of-living crisis is expected to get worse throughout this year, especially in October when energy bills are set to increase by as much as 40% to c. £3,300, plunging 30% of UK-based homes into “fuel poverty.”

Assisting Pockit clients with lowering their overall spending should help clients develop financial resilience and potentially avoid the requirement to depend on costly overdrafts or predatory payday loans.

As noted in the update, Pockit is a Fintech platform providing digital accounts and prepaid cards for clients through the Pockit app.

As explained in the announcement, Pockit account is specifically designed to serve as an alternative to a high-street bank account with the goal to enhance financial inclusion for individuals who tend to struggle to access typical high-street banking solutions.

The mobile-first Fintech intends to make “money simple” for clients with specifically tailored services, like assisting users with better managing their funds or enabling them to send funds globally via its remittance functionality, which is supported by Wise.

Built specifically for banking institutions and Fintech companies, Youtility’s embedded web and API-powered subscription management integrations assist customers with controling, managing and saving on their home finances, directly from within existing money management tools.

Youtility’s goal is to make subscription management straightforward, more accessible and informative, empowering consumers to save a lot of money, stay in control and make well-informed, long-term financial decisions.
