Brazil’s C6 Bank Offers Discounted Airfares via Atoms Points Loyalty Program

C6 Bank is offering special conditions for the purchase of airline tickets “with Atoms points through the bank’s application.”

Between the 24th and 26th of August, the bank’s customers had been able to purchase national and international flights “at different prices through C6 Travel, an area within the bank’s application dedicated to travel.”

Among the exclusive offers for customers, there were options “for domestic flights from 7,900 Atoms points and international flights from 42,000 Atoms points .” If the customer does not have enough points to buy the ticket with points alone, it was reportedly “possible to pay the difference with the C6 Bank credit card.”

C6 Travel offers “are based on fare, fees and charges for the round trip of an adult passenger.”

Boarding must “take place between September and December 2022 and the place of origin of available tickets is São Paulo.” All conditions are “subject to change and seat availability.”

To check out the offers, the bank’s clients can “tap on C6+Benefits in the bottom menu of the C6 Bank app and then tap on C6 Travel.”

The Atom Points Program is C6 Bank‘s loyalty program. With it, the customer who uses the C6 card or the C6 Platinum card “accumulates 0.03 point for each real spent on debit and 0.05 point for each real spent on credit.” Customers with a C6 Carbon card “earn 2.5 points for every dollar spent on the credit function.”

Customers also “earn Átomos points by porting their salary, registering their CPF and cell phone as Pix keys, and earning medals that generate rewards in the C6 Experience, the relationship program that rewards customers for using the bank’s products and services.”

But those who want to accumulate Atom points even faster “can hire one of the accelerator plans available in the C6 Bank app.”

With the C6 + Points plan, which costs R$ 6 per month, customers “accumulate 0.10 point for each real spent on debit (three times more than normal) and 0.28 point for each real spent on credit ( five times more than normal).”

With the C6 + Bonus plan, which costs R$20 per month, customers “accumulate the same 0.10 point for each real spent on debit, 0.28 point for each real spent on credit and another 600 bonus points every month.”

Customers with the C6 Platinum card can also “hire the C6 Platinum plan. With it, the customer accumulates 0.10 points in debit and 0.40 points in credit (eight times more than normal).”

The C6 Platinum plan “costs R$40 per month, but the monthly fee is refunded if the customer spends more than R$4,000 on credit in the month.”

Joining the program is free and Atoms points “do not expire, ie, the customer does not pay anything to participate and can accumulate points for as long as they want before using them.”

Among the available options, in addition to air tickets with advantageous conditions at C6 Travel, “there are cashback with cash back on the account, more than 60 thousand products and services available at the C6 Store, the virtual store that is inside the bank’s application, in addition to the transfer to partner points programs.”

It is also possible “to use the accumulated Atoms points to pay for credit card purchases with the Pay with Points feature, known abroad as PWR, an acronym for Pay With Rewards, which arrived in Brazil exclusively at C6 Bank in partnership with Mastercard.”

In another update, it was noted that C6 Bank launched “the fourth edition of the C6 Journalism Award , which focuses on financial education and personal finance.”

The objective is “to recognize reports that address financial citizenship, a concept that encompasses financial inclusion, financial education and consumer protection of financial services.”
