Crypto Education: Philcoin, the Blockchain Platform Focused on Philanthropy, Partners with Repton Family of Schools in the UAE

Philcoin, the blockchain platform dedicated to philanthropy, announces its collaboration with the Repton Family of Schools in the UAE.

This partnership, part of Excella‘s esteemed network of high-performing K-12 institutions, promises to “turn student achievements into tools for fostering philanthropy through cryptocurrency tokens.”

As the current academic year 2023-2024 commences in the UAE, this integration marks a new approach to education rewards. For each house point a Repton student earns, “a corresponding Philcoin token (PHL) will be credited.”

Beginning from FS1, students are “grouped into distinct houses, and point accumulation starts from Year 1.” These tokens, held in dedicated house wallets, “symbolize diverse achievements, whether they are academic milestones, exemplary behavior, or special recognitions.”

This system aims to promote a positive, inclusive environment, “motivating students towards academic excellence and upholding Repton Values.” By the academic year’s end, the total house points earned “will match an equal number of PHL tokens.”

Throughout September 2023, Philcoin explains that it will “host sessions for Repton teachers, students, and parents about cryptocurrency, Philcoin’s mission, and the uniqueness of this partnership in the region.” House teachers will also serve “as Philcoin Champions, overseeing transactions and engaging with the Philcoin platform.”

Under Philcoin Champions’ guidance, the accumulated digital currency tokens “can be donated to a registered Philcoin philanthropic cause, chosen by the students, or carried forward to the next academic year.”

Furthermore, the update noted that the top-performing house “at year-end will earn double the tokens for each house point.”

In a gracious move, Philcoin will “donate AED 10,000 on behalf of the highest-scoring house to a charitable cause, listed on Philcoin’s app, PHILApp.”

Supporting a global community of more than 100 million members, Philcoin is “the only platform with a Give-To-Earn program, integrating giving with its transactions. Users must give tokens to a charity in order to unlock their rewards.”

With PHILEducation, “an integrated education application, individuals globally can access accredited courses and soft skills training. Philcoin aspires to create the world’s largest giving movement, advocating global equality and a brighter future.”

The Repton partnership aligns with or is consistent with Philcoin’s mission, seeding the essence of giving in young minds. While Repton students won’t directly handle cryptocurrency, they’ll learn its potential to uplift underprivileged communities. Philcoin and Repton aim to set a regional standard, melding advanced technology with genuine humanitarian efforts.

As covered, Philcoin, which is headquartered in Dubai, is a global philanthropic movement on the blockchain. At the center is its super dApp, PHILApp, an innovative Give-to-Earn ecosystem built to change the way giving happens. Boasting a global community spanning the USA, Latin America, the UAE, Asia, Philcoin has been designed to help neutralize global wealth by providing a rewards-based system that is unlocked once each user gives back to a charity or cause of their choice.

There are numerous charities listed on PHILApp for users to support a cause that’s close to their heart. Offering a transparent, efficient and safe space to access everyday products and services such as chat systems, social media, music, staking, streaming platforms, podcasts, education courses; and more; Philcoin claims it “has something for everyone regardless of location, economic status, religion or access to technology.”
