Pixis Secures $85m in Series C1 Funding to Accelerate AI-Driven Growth Marketing

Codeless AI infrastructure company Pixis has announced raising $85 million in its recent Series C1 funding round, anchored by Touring Capital and backed by new and returning investors such as Grupo Carso, General Atlantic, Celesta Capital, and Chiratae Ventures.

The fresh funding increases Pixis’ total capital raised to date to $209 million and will be used to deepen its AI prowess, fast-track global outreach, intensify R&D endeavors — especially in refining its innovative AI-powered creative studio — and cement strategic product and business partnerships.

Established by Shubham A. Mishra, Vrushali Prasade, and Hari Valiyath, Pixis is renowned for creating easily accessible AI technology tailor-made for growth marketing. Its expansive product spectrum boasts features like targeting, in-flight performance optimization, and pioneering generative AI functionalities. From its inception, the platform has skyrocketed in adoption, being employed by over 200 global brands, including industry heavyweights like DHL, Carsome, and HDFC Bank.

Nagraj Kashyap, co-founder and General Partner at Touring Capital, expressed his fervent belief in generative AI’s transformative potential for enterprise software applications. “Pixis stands out as a trailblazer in this domain,” he remarked. “We’ve always been awestruck by their remarkable tech capabilities and how they’ve translated into swift client adoption.”

In recent developments, Pixis rolled out its AI-equipped creative studio, which empowers brands to produce photorealistic creative assets, including 3D visuals and videos, using mere text prompts. This studio is intricately woven into Pixis’ marketing campaign enhancement features, seamlessly integrating campaign data into the asset creation procedure.

Commenting on the successful funding, Shubham A. Mishra, co-founder and CEO of Pixis, noted:

This year is pivotal for Pixis. Our collaboration with Touring Capital, who have been our long-standing thought allies, marks a new dawn. This fresh capital will invigorate our focus on forging strategic alliances and bolstering our R&D initiatives.

2023 has witnessed a significant upscaling of Pixis’ AI framework. The company not only realized its ambition of crafting 200 AI models but has also triumphed in beta-testing its generative AI-centric creative studio. Their novel products targeting cross-platform growth marketing are emerging as industry disruptors. Furthermore, the firm has initiated live roll-outs of its AI solutions tailored for B2B entities.

The lead investor, Touring Capital, incepted in 2023, is a venture capital entity centered on bankrolling the forthcoming wave of budding, AI-centric SaaS enterprises globally. The founding trio—Nagraj Kashyap, Priya Saiprasad, and Samir Kumar—bring a combined experience spanning decades from illustrious investment establishments. They remain staunch advocates of AI’s potential in spearheading productivity surges across various industries and job roles.
