HashKey Capital Obtains Capital Markets Services License from Monetary Authority of Singapore

HashKey Capital Singapore Pte. Ltd., a key player focused on the blockchain and digital asset investment space, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the Capital Markets Services (CMS) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The CMS license, granted by the MAS, designates HashKey Capital Singapore “as a licensed fund management company (LFMC).”

This pivotal development enables HashKey Capital Singapore “to provide regulated fund management services primarily in relation to capital markets products from its base in Singapore.”

The CMS license positions HashKey Capital Singapore to “contribute significantly to the local blockchain community, marking a milestone in the company’s commitment to bringing blockchain-related capital markets products and investments closer to mainstream institutional adoption.”

Mr. Deng Chao, CEO of HashKey Capital Singapore and Head of HashKey Singapore, commented on the achievement, stating:

“Securing the CMS license from the MAS marks a defining moment for HashKey Capital and the vibrant Web3 landscape in Singapore. As a licensed fund management company, we are committed to contributing to the local blockchain community and playing our part in shaping its future. Singapore’s innovative spirit aligns with our mission, and we’re excited to propel blockchain-related capital markets products and investments further into the mainstream, offering new possibilities for institutional and accredited investors.”

The CMS license solidifies commitment “to igniting local growth in the Singaporean market. HashKey Capital Singapore is committed to leveraging its extensive global resources to enrich the Singaporean financial landscape.”

This endeavor aligns with its mission “to create an environment where traditional and digital financial ecosystems harmoniously converge.”

This achievement follows HashKey Capital’s earlier success in “concluding their fundraising journey for VC Fund III, amassing a total of $500 million.”

The focus remains steadfast “on Web3 and blockchain projects globally, underlining HashKey Capital’s commitment to fostering innovation in the digital finance landscape.”
