Consumer Fintech Chime Partners with Zogo, a Financial Education Platform

Chime is pleased to announce a new partnership with Zogo, a financial education platform that offers bite-sized, gamified lessons where users can complete lessons to earn real rewards like gift cards, charity donations and more.

All Chime members now “have fee-free access to more than 25 lesson modules to earn and learn.”

Chime members can download the Zogo app and use the code CHIME to “access exclusive content and rewards.”

Existing Zogo members may simply “connect their account to the Chime experience, too.”

Once logged in, fiscally curious users “can explore helpful calculators, budgeting tools, and educational modules” covering a range of skills including:

  • Saving & Spending: Unlock the fundamentals of financial health like opening a bank account, crafting a sensible budget, and enhancing your credit score for a brighter financial future.
  • Risk & Insurance: Navigate the complexities of the health insurance marketplace, understand the nuances of coinsurance, and master the intricacies of insurance contracts to safeguard your well-being and assets.
  • Government & Taxes: Dive into the essentials of funding your business, explore contracting opportunities, and hone vital business development skills to thrive in the competitive landscape.

Chime was founded on a simple idea: everyday financial and payment services “should be helpful, transparent, and fair. And we’re committed to helping our members unlock financial progress in their lives, not just with our award-winning products, but also with other tools and resources to help them get ahead, including quality and engaging financial education.”

Kira Traore, Head of Corporate Social Impact at Chime, said:

“By leveraging Zogo’s engaging learning modules and tools, we’re not just educating; we’re revolutionizing access to financial health by meeting our members and their communities where they’re already doing most of their learning – on their phones – making learning realistic financial skills easier than ever.”

Chime’s customized Zogo experience “turns financial education into a rewarding journey, literally.”

Users who complete interactive modules on topics “like saving, credit, and investing will earn points redeemable for rewards such as gift cards at some of their favorite stores including Nike®, Starbucks®, Amazon®, and more.”

Shyam Pradheep, General Manager of Zogo said:

“Reimagining financial education is critical to solving the financial literacy crisis and empowering our communities to thrive. We’re honored to be joining forces with Chime as we strive to make learning about finances more accessible and effective for people from all walks of life.”

Chime and Zogo are dedicated to “expanding this initiative through custom modules and further integrating content into the Chime app reinforcing our overarching dedication to financial literacy.”

The Chime Scholars Foundation is another way they are “furthering their reach and impact within underserved communities.”

It’s a reflection of their enduring dedication “to fostering a world where financial well-being is a reality for all.”
