German Equity Crowdfunding Site Bergfürst Closes First Round, Urbanara Nets €3M

urbanaraUrbanara is an “online brand for high-quality home furnishings” that recently turned to upstart German equity crowdfunding platform Bergfürst. It was the first company to be listed on the platform.

They have just closed their round, having raised just short of €3 million. The team behind the product plans to use the funding to further establish their model and build their product. The site aims to eliminate the middleman from the relationship between customer and home goods retailer.
