Mosaic President Billy Parish appeared on Bloomberg West to talk about Mosaic’s business model and their unique approach to funding solar projects. To date, Mosaic has facilitated $5.6 million in solar projects with zero defaults and 100% on-time payments. Pretty incredible for an investment that earns between 4.5% and 7%. Your CD can’t do that.
The typical project for Mosaic is between $200,000 and $500,000. Due to deal size and yields these types of investments aren’t exactly popular with larger institutional investors, but they’re perfect for accredited investors and the masses. Investors can participate in deals on Mosaic for as little as $25 to start.
