CES International is just around the corner where over 150,000 people from all around the world will queue up for a dose of tech heaven. Touted as the most important consumer electronics show in the world, the event is always evolving and always adapting to the fast paced world of technology.
As more and more innovative devices are going the crowdfunding route as a strategy to not only raise funding but to pretail products, CES is spending more energy on this tectonic shift.
This year there will be a panel on crowdfunding titled “Finding the Money” which includes some big names from the industry including:
- Jon Fawcett, CEO, Fuse Chicken
- Karen Kerrigan, President and CEO, Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council
- Sang Lee, Founder, Return on Change
- Slava Rubin, CEO and Co-founder, Indiegogo

Lee runs an equity crowdfunding platform and Rubin is leader of global rewards based crowdfunding giant Indiegogo.
