Crowdsourcing for Translating & Copywriting Company; TexMaster Raises €1,000,000

TextMaster LogoOnline crowdsourcing solution for translation, copywriting and proofreading firm, TextMaster has raised €1,000,000 in funding from Alven Capital, eFounders and Cédric Siré (founder of Webedia group) who joins the company’s existing business angels Fabrice Grinda (founder of OLX), Thibaud Elzière (founder of Fotolia) and Geoffroy Bragadir (founder of Empruntis). This new investment will allow TextMaster to pursue its international expansion, particularly in Germany and Asia, and to prepare for its third round of funding in order to accelerate its growth.

Paris based TextMaster fulfills the needs of clients looking to grow internationally and build their online presence. Its services are also available through an API and integration with major tools like Microsoft Office, WordPress, PrestaShop and Transifex.  The company claims their services are available in more than 100 language pairs.

Founded in 2011 and inspired by Fotolia’s business model, TextMaster is now available in 15 languages and over 40 areas of expertise in 50 countries.  The young company has already attracted 5,000 customers, from small business to multinational corporations. TextMaster’s customers include well- known names such as Google, Quicksilver, Webedia, Benefits (LVMH), Undiz (Etam), Au Thibault Lougnonfeminin, and Zagat.

“This new round of funding will enable us to invest in our technology and pursue our international expansion in Germany and Asia,” said Thibault Lougnon, CEO of TextMaster. “Our shareholder’s support and the arrival of Cédric Siré allows us to continue our growth and prepare for a third round of funding before the end of the year.“
