Reemo 3The device’s team noted, “Instead of walking to a keypad, fumbling for light switches, or opening an app, with Reemo you simply point and control. You can turn on interior or exterior lights, lock doors, or arm the security system, all in moments, from a distance.”

It’s also revealed that the Reemo frees caregivers and seniors from the frustration of solving everyday technical problems. The device becomes a natural part of every day life and empowers the user’s ability to control their environment.

Due to it using intuitive gestures and natural movements, the Reemo is simple to use and the commands are easy to remember. This will increase independence and confidence when interacting with the growing amounts of devices in everyone’s homes.

Reemo 4While sharing details about its partnership with OpenHome Labs, which makes the Reemo an OpenHome Certified Device, the team also revealed it is compatible with other home automation systems. “Even though Reemo works great by itself, we also designed it to work with leading smart home systems and connect devices. We focused on compatibility with OpenHome Labs to begin with, since they have the largest number of devices in platforms to make Reemo compatible with their devices as well. We will announce those developments as soon as they are finalized.”

Set to close on October 16th, the Reemo has already raised $2,288 from 13 backers within the first 24 hours.
