As peer to peer lending platform Prosper celebrates the $2 billion in loans mark they have launched a community contest for borrowers to submit their photos or videos to share how Prosper made their life better. It took 8 years for Prosper to surpass $1 billion and just a few short months to cruise past the next billion so they clearly have a fast growing user base. The “Prosper $2 Billion Photo & Video Contest” is a great way to capture some testimonial content for individuals to share how Prosper helped to save them money or just to make their life a bit easier.
Pretty simple stuff. A Prosper borrower may submit either a video or a photo through to tell your story. They will be taking entries until November 13th. The grand prize is a full loan payoff for the customer (up to $35,000). There will be multiple prize levels for 1st through 3rd place for both videos and photos. Winners announced in early December and certain to be prominently shared across Prosper media channels. Looks like competition is going to be pretty stiff if the video embedded below is any indication of the submitted quality.
