MyForce is a complete personal security smartphone system which provides users the ability to instantaneously notify a 
live response team of a crisis simply by pushing a button. MyForce security agents coordinate emergency response with local authorities who are able to provide help faster because they know the users identities, where they are, and what is happening. The Denver-based startup listed on Crowdfunder has raised nearly $600K of its $1M goal to date. Currently, the MyForce app is available in the US on the iPhone (iOS 3.1.3 or later), Android (v. 2.0.1), and BlackBerry (v. 4.3 or later).
“MyForce is supported on nine college campuses and in one hospital. We are also in conversations with a larger wireless carrier and national insurance provider to distribute the service. Ken Langone, Co-Founder of Home Depot and active angel investor, just invested and we’re offering [investors] the same terms,” shared MyForce Co-Founder and CEO Brad Zotti.
“As parents, we constantly worry about the safety of our loved ones. The media bombards us with incidents from across the nation, school shootings, frequent assaults on campuses, and crimes all around us. Both founders have loved ones whove been victims of violence,” stated the campaign. “We developed MyForce to address these problems by leveraging technology to empower our members and provide peace of mind to their families. Today we protect a broad demographic of men and women ranging from 8 to 81 years of age.”
