eebria logoEeBria, the UK craft alcohol marketplace, enables customers to buy alcohol directly from small independent craft breweries, distilleries and vineyards around the UK.  The platform was established in 2013 and has grown consistently since its launch.  Currently crowdfunding on Seedrs, EeBria has secured over £128K of its £150,010 goal for 17.65% equity offered with the help of over 195 investors.  EeBria has been valued at £700,000.

eebriaCurrently targeting the consumer (B2C) market, including 2 subscription clubs, EeBria now looks to take advantage of the large untapped B2B Craft Beer Industry, syncing breweries and independent pubs and restaurants together. The B2B site would use the same fundamental EeBria marketplace model, but with some back-end and UI changes. The B2C site launched in August 2013 with the first subscriptions in July 2014 and sales have grown steadily month on month. The launch of B2B is scheduled for Q1 2015.

eebria“We help customers escape the bland and the boring and let them access the best drinks the UK has to offer at great prices and in the best possible condition. Most of the beers we sell you won’t find on the high street, other than in very specialist bottle shops normally near the brewery — and even then they are likely to have sat around for a while so aren’t in great condition. We help anybody, anywhere in the UK try the best producers in the UK and at a great price. On the brewery side, we handle all the admin and the customer service from consumer sales for great small breweries so they can concentrate on what they do best and make great drinks.”

Looking ahead to the future of the online food/beverage industry, EeBria shares its predictions:

eebria“Increasingly customers want to know about where their food is from, how it’s made and who made it. Over the next few years there will no doubt be more businesses looking to satisfy this market, like us, by curating the very best producers and ensuring rapid delivery. As more and more shopping moves online and the couriers become cheaper, more efficient and give better customer experiences it will be even easier to buy the best products conveniently and at a great price.”
