Brief: Indiegogo Success Canary Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer

CanaryHome security startup and Indiegogo success Canary recently announced that it has appointed Bob Stohrer as its new chief marketing officer.

Stohrer reportedly joins Canary with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience for high-profile consumer brands across categories that included wireless and consumer electronics, media, entertainment and sports. He was previously chief marketing officer for iHeartRadio and senior vice president, brand creative at Yahoo.

Speaking about Stohrer’s appointment, CEO of Canary Adam Sager stated:

“Canary had a tremendous year of growth and expansion in 2015 and these early results have raised our expectations even higher for 2016. Bob raises our game — he’s a world-class marketer, he’s led brands that have a built an avid following and he knows how to take a brand from category challenger to category leader.”
