Rapper The Game & Son Returns to GoFundMe to Raise Funds For 3-Year-Old Shooting Victim

The Game

Less than a month after teaming up with his son Harlem to raise funds on GoFundMe for Little Rock police officer Tommy Norman, rapper The Game has launched a new campaign on the crowdfunding platform for Zachaeus Waters, a three-year-old boy who was shot in the face on his birthday.

The Game explained that Zachaeus and his mother was shot during his birthday celebration. His mother lost her life while he lost his left eye:

“When Zachaeus woke up from surgery, he repeatedly said, ‘shoot me, he shoot me daddy.’ No child or family should ever have to experience something so tragic especially at such a young age. This little boy will now grow up without his mother, missing out on one of the strongest bonds in life!”

The rapper also revealed on his Instagram:

“No child on earth should ever have to experience something so tragic especially at such a young age. I’m a father and I know far too well the love instilled inside us real fathers and the pain felt when children are hurting.”

In addition to the funds, The Game stated he would donate an extra $5,000 to help Zachaeus and his father move out of the area and better than lives. During a recent interview, Daquan shared his thoughts about the campaign and the constant support he and his son have received:

“I can’t even explain how happy I am. It’s phenomenal. I was in tears most of [Monday].”

So far, the campaign has raised well over its initial $5,000 and is currently nearing $8,775 from over 450 supporters.
