Fintech Startup investFeed Raises More Than Half of Its $1M Funding Target on Crowdfunder

investFeed, a fintech startup that provides a transparent social investment network, has successfully secured more than half of its $1 million funding target through Crowdfunder. The company launched the campaign at the end of September and is seeking the funds to expand and add more key features, which includes adding market data for additional asset classes.

The company, which describes itself as the world’s first fully transparent social investment platform, allows investors and traders to share their insights and portfolios with friends, groups, and the crowd through a chat feature. investFeed also noted that its platform helps users by identifying, following, monitoring the performance of top investors on the platform, and sharing their investments along with trading strategies. CEO of investFeed Ronald Chernesky revealed at the campaign’s launch:

“Users can connect their brokerage account to let investFeed track their portfolio performance, real-time. This also allows their community of peers to verify that each trade posted on investFeed matches the actual trading activity of the users they follow. Each trade uses bank- level encryption for maximum security.”

In regards to other features that will be available thanks to the funds, Chernesky added:

“It’s pretty difficult to decipher and filter through market news and manage a portfolio at all times, so our solution is to add a customized news feed, social heat map, and robo-advisory solutions for automatic portfolio management. That way, users could save time and won’t always need to be near their phones or computers to trade alongside top investors and traders on the platform.”

The platform is now up and running, and it was previously nominated “Best Use of the Crowd Platform” by Benzinga FinTech Awards in 2015. It is currently available on both iOS and Android. investFeed’s Crowdfunder campaign is still open and accepting funds.
