There is an interesting correlation between the Pebble watch announcement and Kickstarter crashing. A quick visit to the Kickstarter status page indicates a “Partial Outage”. As it stands right now Kickstarter appears to be back online, but still struggling to serve pages after a brief downtime.
Perhaps this is a consequence of 50,000 people simultaneously attempting to update their Pebble Time perk? Did Pebble keep their announcement a secret to surprise the SysAdmin team in Brooklyn?
