As a market leader in the secondary market for e-commerce and valued at 11,500,000€, Returbo is a profitable business likely to generate more than €6M in revenues in 2015. By selling customer returns and other secondary market products through its more than 30 online sales channels including Amazon and eBay, offering consumers brand products at unbeatable prices, Returbo has garnered consistent profits. Since launching its equity crowdfunding campaign on Companisto in late June, Returbo has secured more than 852,560€ of its maximum 900,000€ goal, easily surpassing its initial 200,000€ goal. The platform recently shared new partner information on its Companisto updates.
“We have attracted various renowned partners since our campaign launch, which we will provide with secondary market services in the future,” announced Returbo Co-founder Simon Schmid on the campaign. “We would like to introduce some of these partners in today’s update in order to give you a better idea of the vast variety of our partners and our tasks. Our interesting and diverse partners include, for instance, Brilliant AG, Deluxe Distribution, and skandika outdoor & fitness.”
Founded in Gnarrenburg in 1951 and headquartered in Lower Saxony, Brilliant AG manufactures light fixtures and lamps. The company also sells light fixtures for indoor and outdoor use, lamps, and POS concepts. In 2014, Brilliant generated €68 million in revenues and had approximately 260 employees.
“Our product range is subject to frequent changes due to color and material trends and the technological progress caused by LEDs. We had been searching for a reliable and competent partner to help us market overstock and discontinued products for a long time before we finally discovered Returbo,” commented Brilliant about Returbo.
In addition, Berlin-based Deluxe Distribution offers various national and international fashion companies (e.g., Ben Sherman Footwear, Minimum, etc.) a comprehensive service portfolio, thus helping these companies expand at the national and European level. Skandika, a brand for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts, has a large product portfolio that ranges from large tents for family vacations to gym machines.
To date, Companisto has raised over 22,709,664 € for 48 campaigns from 41,419 investors. Other featured live campaigns include Sawade, noDNA, WEMOVO and Naturbursche.
