UK-based startup Woof&Brew has recently launched a Seedrs initiative to raise  £250,000 to expand its drinks for dogs line. The company revealed that it believes itself to be the first to create a range of healthy drinks for dogs, including a herbal tea range, a tonic range and a ready-to-drink infused water.

Woof&Brew 1The company stated that it offers a wide range of doggie friendly products, including teas, tonics, and treats

“Our range of healthy, herbal blends (for dogs) are a complimentary pet food, created and blended to support your dog’s specific needs. The blends are all veterinary approved as safe and the herbs used are left intact, rather than ground, to provide optimum nutritional benefits. Bursting with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Since launching, the range has set tongues – and tails – wagging across the globe.”

Sharing details about some of the company’s tea bags, co-founder and brand director, Lisa Morton revealed to the Telegraph:

Woof&Brew 3“Our dog tea bags aren’t just treats, they’re tonics as well, designed with and approved by vets. Everybody these days is on a bit of a health kick and that goes for everyone in the household including the dogs. It’s all part of the emotional connection we have with our pets these days – dogs are part of the family too.”

During a recent interview, co-founder of WOOF&Brew, Steve Bennett, discussed details about the company’s new brew beverage, Bottom Sniffer:

“Apart from the fact it’s a really fun product and creates an iconic treat, there is also substance behind the name. The average dog nose is anywhere between 10,000 and 100,000 times more sensitive than ours. Sniffing each other’s bottoms is more than just a doggy handshake. Dogs are able to sense the emotional status, gender and diet of the dogs they are sniffing.”

He then noted:

Woof&Brew 4“Initial reactions among retailers and consumers have been incredible. Bottom Sniffer will be available in most pet stores as well as dog-friendly cafes, hotels as well as our own website. We have also had more than 100 dog-friendly pubs pre-order so a Friday night down the pub with your dog can now be a truly enjoyable experience for all.”
