Andrea Moore, a Kiwi fashion brand, has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Snowball Effect to raise a minimum of $250,000 (max $750,000). The nationwide retailer offers premium womenswear fashion which includes apparel, knitwear, eyewear, footwear, jewelry, leather bags and accessories.
The company, which was launched in 1999, currently offers two collections. The namesake and premium collection, which is targeted towards women between the ages of 25 and 65:
“Andrea Moore Women are strong, capable, compassionate, career followers, dream chasers, mothers, lovers, friends, and adventurers. Andrea Moore offers its customers ‘The Ride of your Life’ through its high quality luxurious products with a heavy dose of fun.”
I AM, a line which is described as “younger in attitude” and is offered a lower price point:
“I AM is about the Girl Gang and her eclectic friends. This is often the same person who shops at Andrea Moore. During the week it might be Andrea Moore and on the weekend it could be the more playful relaxed look of I AM. It’s all about the attitude.”
Both collections are sold through the Andrea Moore’s seven retail stores in New Zealand and an online store, which is accessible to local and offshore customers. Andrea Moore collections are also sold through more than 50 New Zealand wholesale accounts, which includes Belle Bird, Decode, Escape, Degas, Lolita, The Jewel Box, Wendy’s, Spex and Holland Shoes. The company also revealed it had signed a deal with Farmers to stock the I AM line in 30 of its stores nationwide beginning August 2016.
Funds from the campaign will be used to expand Andrea Moore’s collections. It was noted that the expansion is not dependent on these funds, but it will enhance and accelerate. The initiative is set to close mid-August.
