Klarna, an international retail bank, payments, and shopping service, and Global-e (NASDAQ: GLBE), a cross-border digital commerce platform, have extended their partnership to provide flexible payment methods to clients across the US, UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Australia.
Klarna‘s payment services will be accessible to merchants selling globally through the Global-e’s cross-border digital commerce platform. Global-e’s merchants will have the option to offer Klarna to improve their offering of a domestic online shopping experience.

Global-e’s localized, cross-border digital commerce platform enables merchants to customize the online shopping experience to the preferences and behaviors of consumers from different markets. This approaches helps with accelerating online sales and conversions.
This includes domestic pricing in over 100 different currencies, local messaging, and an easy checkout experience supported in more than 25 languages. Additionally, the Global-e platform provides several different shipping options at reasonable rates, including value propositions like free shipping over a certain threshold, a transparent return process (including pre-paid and local returns and calculation of local import duties and taxes for a guaranteed landed cost with the added option of prepayment at checkout).
This latest expansion has been announced after the success of the Global-e and Klarna partnership that was formed in 2017 in the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium and Austria.
Global-e’s merchants include everyday fashion retailers and high-end brands such as Marks & Spencer, Forever21, Reformation, La Perla, Harvey Nichols, Hugo Boss, Skims, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Never Fully Dressed, Vincero Watches, and Etam.
