Issuance, a capital raising platform for investment crowdfunding, has partnered with DealPoint, a leading Canadian capital raising platform. DealPoint aims to improve upon the cross-border online investment process for issuers.
According to Issuance, DealPoint provides similar technology to their service, which is offered in the US market. DealPoint provides a digital platform to facilitate online capital formation in Canada.
Darren Marble, co-founder & CEO of Issuance, said they are thrilled to work with DealPoint;
“Our platforms have a shared commitment to make fundraising accessible and user-friendly for issuers, and this partnership will further our efforts to bring more capital to startups and growth-stage companies.”
Collaborative services will incorporate compliance, including the issuance of securities along with AML/KYC processes. Firms looking to raise capital are expected to benefit from tapping into both markets.
“DealPoint is excited to partner with Issuance to increase access to capital for both Canadian and U.S. issuers,” said Sandi Gilbert, CEO of DealPoint. “Our respective platforms have a track record of success helping issuers compliantly access capital while navigating the complexities of securities regulations in both countries. It has never been easier for issuers to raise crucial growth capital online.”
DealPoint’s technology enables capital formation from several exemptions including the offering memorandum (OM) and crowdfunding. DealPoint’s platform reports that it has transacted more than $400 Million in exempt securities from more than five thousand investors.
