The London Distillery Company (TLDC), a boutique artisanal spirits manufacturer, offered up 45% equity in their company for £250,000 on Crowdcube in March 2012. Recently the company, founded by CEO Darren Rook, was featured on CNN Money as TLDC brings back the art of whisky making to the city of London.
The craft alcohol industry has been quite the rage of late as consumers demand higher quality, unique products. Whisky has not been distilled in London for over a century but now this is about to change and 44 investors got to take part in the excitement 
by purchasing equity.
The production of a London Single Malt Whisky will be joined by the only UK in-house organic London Dry Gin and a range of premium Ready-to-Drink (RTD) barrel aged cocktails.
