Crazy Looking “Halfbike” is Crowdfunding on Kickstarter Now

I must admit I was a bit mesmerized watching people zip around on this new type of cycle.  I am a committed biker so I was intrigued to see a bike (tricycle?) with a joy stick zooming around the country.

Created by a startup called Kolelinia, the two cofounders – Martin Angelov and Mihail Klenov –  have definitely designed something different. Both are architects and passionate cyclists who set out to create a smarter vehicle.  They want to bring back the joy to urban mobility.  No skateboard or scooter for these two – they designed half a bike.

Early bird specials for the very first HalfBikes were all scooped up so it you want one now you have pony up $899.00 for their Kickstarter campaign.  Ships this coming September.  If you really want to be first you can kick in $7000 (or more) and head over to Amsterdam to learn from the people who designed this bike.  All expenses included.

Now my next question is when are they launching their crowdfunding campaign for “line of bike“.  If you are fearful of heights this is not for you ..
