Australia based crowdfunding platform Pozible has recently adjusted their fee structure lowering the total cost to larger campaigns raising funds on their platform. Â This is not the first time the site has adjusted their approach but as they enter new markets and challenge a growing list of competitors platform costs can be an important differentiating factor.
Now projects raising over $100,000 (USD) will pay 4% of funds raised. Â For campaigns raising $500,000 or more the fee is lowered further to 3%. Â Smaller campaigns, those under $100,000, remain at the 5% level. Â Fee structure is applied based on total raised and not the initial funding goal. Â Some projects may receive a special “invitation” to receive a lower fee structure as well.
No fees are charges on crowdfunding projects that do not reach their targeted amount.
