Australia based crowdfunding platform Pozible has recently adjusted their fee structure lowering the total cost to larger campaigns raising funds on their platform. This is not the first time the site has adjusted their approach but as they enter new markets and challenge a growing list of competitors platform costs can be an important differentiating factor.
Now projects raising over $100,000 (USD) will pay 4% of funds raised. For campaigns raising $500,000 or more the fee is lowered further to 3%. Smaller campaigns, those under $100,000, remain at the 5% level. Fee structure is applied based on total raised and not the initial funding goal. Some projects may receive a special “invitation” to receive a lower fee structure as well.
No fees are charges on crowdfunding projects that do not reach their targeted amount.
