The HereO GPS Raises Over $100,000 On Indiegogo

Giving parents a way to keep track of their children, The hereO company launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise $100,000 for its brand new GPS watch. The product is considered “the smallest real-time connected GPS tracking device, created specifically for children three years and up.”

The hereO GPS watch gives parents the location of their children at anyhereO moment directly on their cellphone through a hereO app. It comes with a built-in SIM-card, which automatically connects to local carriers in more than 120 countries.

The watch comes fully loaded with functions that allow parents to keep track of their little ones. Parents can view their child’s location via app. They will also receive alerts when their child enters or leaves frequently visited locations (i.e. school, home). Parents are able to set up panic alerts, which sends and alerts to all family members using the app with the current location the child is in.

HereO GPS watchAlso including in the hero GPS watch is a tamper alert, which alerts parents of the child’s location if/when the watch is removed. There is also a history and directions function. The app not only syncs with the watch, it also enables the user to know the whereabouts of the entire family.

The heroO GPS watch is significantly different from any other device because it is designed with children in mind. This allows it to fit properly and comfortably on tiny wrists and is more than 1/2 the size smaller than any other wearable tracking products. It is also the first and only complete end-to-end family location sharing service and it is less than half the price of the competitors.

The heroO GPS watch’s campaign funds will be used for search and manufacturing. To date the campaign has raised over $173,000 from more than 1300 backers.
