Equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs has announced that Todd Ruppert, former CEO of T. Rowe Price Global Investment Services, has joined the european investment portal’s advisory board.
Ruppert is described as one of the investment industry’s most successful leaders. During his 27-year career at the world-renowned, $700 billion investment manager T. Rowe Price, Ruppert, among many other initiatives, established and led the firm’s transformation from a U.S. centric firm to one with respect and clients throughout the globe.
Having retired from T. Rowe Price in 2012, Ruppert currently serves in roles with a number of corporate, financial and charitable organisations. Some of these include INSEAD business school where he is a trustee; Greenspring Associates, a preeminent US based venture capital firm where he is a venture partner; 
Athena Capital, a leading private equity firm in Africa, where he is Chairman; Nutmeg, a groundbreaking on-line, low-cost UK-focused asset management firm, where he is a senior advisor; the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, where he is a global ambassador and founding board member in the U.S.; and many others. He is also a co- producer of UK touring production of Happy Days – A New Musical, which raised part of its funding through Seedrs.
