Contradicting famous investor David Einhorn, three well known faces in the investment world gathered to explain why we are currently not in a tech bubble. Jeff Lynn, CEO of equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs, Eze Vidra of Google Campus and VC Eileen Burbidge of Passion Capital joined to together to share their perspective.
The threesome were interviewed by Thomson – Reuters in London. While admitting that some public companies are experiencing excessive valuations others are trading below averages – an excellent example being Apple Computer trading at 13x earnings. In contrast to 15 years ago when many companies were based on vapor – many businesses today are generating revenue and experiencing growth. Definitely worth a watch.
