UK based finance mag, MoneyWeek, has published a report focusing on the Peer to Peer lending industry. The report, entitled “CrowdPower: How You Can Make a Small Fortune from the Peer to Peer Revolution” is available for free download (it is also embedded below).

The Crowdpower report focuses mainly on P2P lending and poses the question as to “Why use the bank when you can do it yourself?” .. Good question if you ask me. The P2P lending phenomena is part of a larger theme of the “Network Effect”, in other words capturing tons of users by leveraging new technology to boost revenues and eventually profit. The report gives multiple examples of this occurring – many will be obvious to most readers.
