Imperative Takes Command on Onevest: Network System for Millennials, Managers & Recruiters

Imperative is an early-stage platform in the B2B industry that helps users “find purpose.” The company not only alreadyimperative 1 has revenue, users, paying customers, clients, and strategic partners, but also has secured $750,000 during its Onevest crowdfunding campaign. Eight investors helped Imperative reach its initial goal for the 506(c) Regulation D private offering. The $750K Onevest seed round to build out Imperative’s full platform and pilot it within companies in paid engagements starting in Q3 of this year. “With a goal of 100k registered users, a series of completed pilots and the full MVP of the platform built, we will raise a series A of $$3-5 million in Q2 2015. This will enable us to build out the remaining key features of the platform and reach profitability by the end of 2015,” states the startup.

Our book the Purpose Economy gained wide media attention and sales to position a strong brand for Imperative,” explains the campaign. “Our CEO Aaron Hurst is seen as a known thought-leader in the space of purpose at work having spearheaded the pro bono service movement. Our CTO Blue Thomas and technical team are first to build out this type of platform.”

Impertive’s revenue current employs a “go-to-market strategy is to pilot Imperative within companies at $5,000 per team as an internal engagement tool,” according to the campaign. “Our model, similar to that of LinkedIn projects 25% of our revenue from premium account upgrades at $19/month cost per member. 50% of our revenue will be sourced from recruiting at $8,000 per annual recruiter license and $295 per job posting .25% of our revenue will be from display advertising, at $100 per display ad.”
