2Steel Girls’ success is due in large part to the strong work ethic it takes to make it in today’s tough music business. They were first seen by many on The Voice, where Blake Shelton proclaimed, “You will have a bright future in country music.” They have funded much of their touring and recording through Kickstarter. And they have scratched their way into the hearts of millions through good, old-fashioned hard work.
Allison stated:
“Like anyone else starting out in the music business, we tried a lot of different approaches. Early on, we were advised to ‘polish’ our look and sound, but it just wasn’t us. We grew up country and that’s just who we are. Our connection with Realtree Girl runs deep. We’ve worn Realtree for years, hunted and fished in it, and are simply most comfortable wearing it.”
