The UKBAA Angel Investment awards are scheduled to take place next week on July 1st. Now in its 10th year, the event acknowledges the most disruptive and successful (or soon to be) young businesses across the UK. The black tie affair typically captures a solid crowd of regular suspects in the startup world. This year the event will see the presentation of 11 different awards along with plenty of wine and good food.
The shortlist, posted below, includes many names from the crowdfunding, disruptive finance space. There are multiple companies that have raised capital via crowdfunding but several funding portals are up for awards including; Abundance Generation, Angels Den and SyndicateRoom. Best of luck to all.
