As revealed in a tweet by Abundance, the renewable energy platform has raised £1 million in just 24 hours for on offer. A first for the crowdfunding site.

The short term debenture has received the support of 192, as of today, and remains active on the site. Described as a “first of its kind” the12 month note will generate 12% interest for investors in 2 payments. The project is for a single 500kW wind turbine to be constructed in Aberdeenshire. The project “Upper Pitforthie Windgen” will provide clean electricity to UK homes and may be one of the last onshore wind turbines to benefit from the Feed in Tariff.
