Crowdfunder UK Captures Over £1.3M on Crowdcube; Plans to Support Up to 150,000 Projects Across the UK

On Wednesday, reward-based crowdfunding platform, Crowdfunder UK, announced that it has successfully secured over £1.3 million through its Crowdcube campaign.

“More than 900 people invested in the crowdfunded share offer, which valued the company at over £15million, post money, taking the total number of shareholders to over 1,000. Investors included The Eden Project’s Sir Tim Smit, The Cambridge Satchel Company’s Julie Deane OBE, entrepreneur Dominic List and leading green financier, Ben Goldsmith, as well as Creative England.”

Caroline NorburyCaroline Norbury MBE, CEO of Creative England, stated:

“This is absolutely fantastic news and we are delighted to be working with Crowdfunder to help discover and support the huge number of talented individuals and businesses we know are in the regions. Leading green financier, Ben Goldsmith shared:
