Ladies Razor Subscription Service Friction Free Shaving Looks to Raise Funds Through Seedrs

Friction Free Shaving, a UK-based delivery service, recently launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs to raise £110,005 as it continuous its expansion. It is offering 14.21% in equity during this funding round.

Friction Free Shaving 4The company offers a monthly subscription service that is  designed exclusively for women. Friction Free Shaving explained:

“To our knowledge, we are the only razor delivery service in the UK designed exclusively for women. We deliver razors and replacement blades through customers’ letterboxes each month in return for a modest monthly subscription. The blades arrive via Royal Mail and P&P is built into the sale price.”

How it works is pretty simple:

  • Step One: Customers pick their razors from three razors. Each are metal and have no plastic. These prices are £3, £5 or £7 per month.
  • Step Two: The company will send the customers their new razor in the post along with 4 fresh blades. It may also offer little gift in the box as well.
  • Step Three: Each month, the company will send customers 4 fresh blades. This service can be paused or canceled at any time.

Friction Free Shaving 3The razors are the 5 stainless steel razor blade “Samantha” (£7), the 3 stainless steel razor blade “Frankie” (£5), and the 2 stainless steel razor blade “Faye” (£3).

Noting why women should consider its service, Friction Free Shaving stated:

“Nothing beats the smooth feeling you get from shaving with a brand new razor. But expensive and over-complicated high street brands put many of us off regularly changing our blades. And that’s not just annoying, it’s bad for your skin too, making you more prone to irritation and rashes. Friction Free Shaving (FFS) is on a mission to change all that. We make it easy and affordable to get that feeling from shaving with a brand new razor every time you shave.”

“We can’t tell you what to indulge yourself with. What we can say is that there must be nicer things to spend your hard earned money on than replacement razor blades. Treat yourself to that little luxury, rather than fund some big brand razor’s celebrity endorsement.”

So far, the company’s campaign has already secured over half of its Seedrs goal.
