Kickstarter Hero Peak Design Takes Everyday Backpack Campaign to Indiegogo’s InDemand

peter dering, peak designWhile Peak Design may have officially closed its most recent rockin’ Kickstarter campaign which raised for its Everyday Backpack Collection.  Founded by Peter Dering, Peak Design is still offering the Everyday Backpack (in 20L and 30L), Everyday Sling, and Everyday Tote, but now on Indiegogo’s InDemand. Funded to the tune of $6,635,143 on Kickstarter on 9 September, the line is now available for pre-order exclusively on its Indiegogo campaign.

“Like all Peak Design products, our new bags are packed full of features and meticulously engineered. They are designed from the ground up to be both the best camera bags and the best everyday carry on the planet,” explained the company on Indiegogo.

Orders aim to be shipped together by March 2017 — possibly sooner — once fulfillment for Kickstarter pre-orders is complete.

Last year wireless earbuds PUGZ, another Kickstarter crowdfunding success, decided to take its talents to to competitor Indiegogo’s InDemand following its $1.43 million Kickstarter raise.  And why not keep the party going, asks Indiegogo. Startups may accept contributions following crowdfunding campaign, leverage their existing network of backers to grow reach while updating perks or implement a referral contest while receiving ongoing exposure on the Indiegogo platform and its social channels.
