Marketplace Lender Prosper Shares Performance Update for Jan 2022

The team at Prosper has shared their platform’s Performance Update for January 2022.

Haiyan Huang from Prosper notes that in January 2022, approximately 57% of loan originations “were rated AA-B.”

The company further noted that the average loan size in January “increased by 4% month-over-month.” The Prosper team also mentioned that the median monthly payment on Prosper loan to Income (PTI) ratio for January “remained relatively flat month-over-month at 5.34%.”

The weighted average borrower rate for January originations “remained stable month-over-month,” Prosper’s management confirmed.
