Christian Faes, CEO and Co-Founder of LendInvest, a P2P lending platform focused on the property lending industry in the United Kingdom, was recently interviewed about FCA regulations on the FT Money Show.
Faes’ segment commences about 13 minutes into the podcast. He comments about the new regulations as being a very positive step for the entire industry as P2P comes into the mainstream as an investment class. LendInvest was derived from an existing business with a long track record of involvement in the commercial property industry. Faes points out that LendInvest is very prepared to manage the proper due diligence required to maintain a successful P2P crowdfunding platform and that regulations are needed to make certain other new entrants are prepared to do the same.
