Property Moose Opens Up Real Estate Investment Site after Funding on Crowdcube

Property Moose LogoHoping to take the crowdfunding revolution by storm, Property Moose recently launched their site and listed their first properties available to investors. The company wants to allow individuals to invest in real estate for as little as £500.

Earlier this year founders Andrew Gardiner, Paul Miller and James Cadbury (great, great grandson of Cadbury founder) targeted a raise of £60,000 on Crowdcube but that amount was easily beaten as 104 investors came together to contribute £169,010 for 16.9% in just 11 days.  The single largest investment was for £50,000.

The company has developed an integrated platform that simplifies the property investment process. The management team states that every available property will be hand selected  for their market potential.  Property Moose will be co-investors alongside participating investors.  Once a property is funded the property is acquired via a limited company and shares are issued to all participants.  Voting rights are assigned to every share.  The period of the investments are expected to be from 2 to 5 years.  Shares may Property Moose listingbe sold or transferred via the Property Moose platform.

Property Moose recently received regulatory clearance from the FCA and now has their first two properties posted on their platform.  The company is also open for partnerships as they have developed the software in house and recognize this asset may be used to power other platforms.

With the real estate market booming in the UK , Property Moose wants to position their portal as a transparent and compelling option for investors – targeting an asset class that clearly has broad public interest.
