Brief: P2P Lender Wellesley Appoints Peter Stott to Board

On Tuesday, peer-to-peer lender, Wellesley & Co., announced that Peter Stott has joined the board of Wellesley Group as a non-executive director. The appointment is another major milestone for Wellesley and follows the recent senior appointments of group chief risk officer Stephen Bell and managing director Nick McAuliffe.

Wellesley & coAccording to Wellesley, Stott is considered an experienced and respected figure in the finance world and has held senior positions both in the UK and US. Stott joins Wellesley from investment bank, Greenhill & Co, where he was a managing director and senior adviser since 2005.

Peter Stott joins Wellesley’s experienced board, including ex-Lloyds Banking Group CEO Eric Daniels, Michael Hatchard,  head of the English law practice at leading international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and David Godfrey, until recently Chief Executive of UK Export Finance.
