Crowdcube Success Chilango Joins UberEats

Famed car service Uber recently launched its brand new super-fast delivery service, UberEats, in London. The service offers up menus have dishes from local spots that users love and the ones they have been looking to try. It is the same cashless payment as a regular uber ride. Delivery times range from less than five minutes to under an hour.

UberEatsIts description reads:

“UberEATS delivers food from your favorite local restaurants. With the new UberEATS app, you have access to a broader selection of restaurants and food. Now you can order from the full menus of your local favorites whenever you want, or get something immediately through our Instant Delivery menu of curated meals.”

UberEats has made London the 18th city to get the service. There are 150 restaurants listed, which includes various hotspots like Snog Yogurt, Pho, Melt Room, and even Crowdcube success Chilango. Eric Partaker, founder of Chilango, revealed to the Evening Standard that all 10 London locations of the restaurant are currently using UberEats app.

Chilango was found in the UK in 2007 when co-founders Eric Partaker and Dan Houghton saw a gap in the Mexican food market in the region and proceeded to launch the now popular restaurant chain. The new money will allow the company to expand with the expectation to open 50 new locations across 20 cities by 2021.
