Following the release of Blue Mountain State: the Rise of Thadland, creator Eric Falconer announced Arizona State University as winner of the film’s college contest.

Blue Mountain StateDuring its run on Kickstarter, BMS enlisted universities across the country to support their project (and more than a few from outside the borders of the United States). Next Thursday, the crew will kick things off by throwing a party at El Hefe in Tempe, AZ. Alan Ritchson (Thad Castle), Romansch (Sammy), Lindsey Sporrer (Holly) and Falconer will be present. Pre-sale tickets are $10, at the door tickets are $20, and meet and greet VIP tickets are $40. Tickets may be purchased here

Blue Mountain StateOn Friday, the BMS team will hold a screening of the movie. Backers who donated for ASU during the Kickstarter campaign must RSVP in the comment section of the update no later than this Sunday evening to get put on the special guest lists. These RSVP’s will be confirmed on a first come, first serve basis as space is reportedly limited.
