Meatcure, a burger restaurant chain from Market Harborough, has recently launched a Seedrs initiative to secure a total of £350,000 as it prepares to expand by opening five new locations. The company is currently offering 8.56% in equity for those who invest during the project.

Meatcure 3Meatcure, which was established in 2014, currently focuses on the following principles: Good food and service; Local and sustainable food chain; Development of family culture with employees;  Stylish restaurant spaces; Well-priced locations; Consistent.

The company noted:

“We make food we like to eat and we make restaurants we like to hang out in. That’s as honest as it gets. The ethos of Meatcure is to bring together well sourced, high-quality local produce and use this to craft a superior dining experience.”

Meatcure’s Market Harborough opened in November 2014, followed by Meatcure Leicester Highcross opened in July 2015, Meatcure Leamington Spa opened in October 2015. Its Bedford location opens this month. The company’s meat comes from Joseph Morris.

Meatcure 1Explaining more details about how only 350,000 will open five new locations, the Meatcure team revealed:

“So far Meatcure has proven that it can build a restaurant for £100,000 or less, sometimes a lot less. Our first unit in Market Harborough was launched for £82,000. Our current fit-out in Bedford is currently on track to match previous set up costs and we feel likely to come in under £100,000 too.”

The company also stated that all the Seedrs ends will be put towards opening new units that will be less than 100,000 per fit-out and the profits from the new units will be reinvested. The initiative is set to close mid-August.
