The Coolest Cooler, a project that failed to raise $125,000 in a similar campaign launched late last year, has moved past the $8 Million mark in crowdfunding on Kickstarter with more than 40,000 backers supporting the product.. Coolest is the 3rd most funded Kickstarter campaign of all time.
The remaining two campaigns that stand before them are:
- The Pebble Watch that raised $10,266,845 from 68,929 contributors
- Ouya Video Game Counsel that raised $8,596,474 from 63,416 contributors
Coolest Cooler still has 26 days to go left in their project and if they maintain the same momentum they should quickly vanquish Ouya and have a good shot at topping the Pebble Watch.
Coolest has a good range of rewards but the most popular one of them all is at $185 for a single cooler. For delivery scheduled in February 2015, 
32,426 backers have committed to the reward at this level
While the campaign organizers have been pretty quiet on their campaign page updates they have kept a steady flow of color commentary on their Facebook page (that has over 58,000 likes).
